We are seeking a motivated and experienced full time Porter for our luxury apartment community with 452 units in Chelsea, MA.  Responsibilities include maintaining a first class property with attention to curb appeal, cleaning all common areas of buildings, painting common areas as well as apartment homes, and keeping the grounds maintained.  The successful candidate must be customer service oriented as well.  Full time schedule will require weekend coverage.

Roving Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who will rotate from property to property, based upon the needs of our portfolio.  This individual will be based out of our Regional Office in Woburn, MA.  This candidate will travel between Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island; with limited responsibilities in Maine and New York.  There may also be opportunities to assist our Mid Atlantic portfolio from time to time.  The Roving Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the physical integrity of our communities by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times.  In addition, the Roving Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems.

Daily activities would include:

-Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
-Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
-Work orders
-Traveling to different sites in the portfolio
-Operates within OSHA standards and company safety policies

Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will direct, oversee and coordinate the construction activities of multi-family apartment communities.  This individual will act as the owner’s representative/agent to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. 

This individual will be expected to attend pre-construction & progress meetings and review project plans and specifications to develop familiarity with the scope of work.   In addition, this individual will oversee the timeframe, funding limitations, procedures and allotment resources to various phases of the project.  This includes monitoring job progress against the schedule, performing quality control inspections, reviewing the contracts of general contractors and design consultants.

To perform the job successfully, the candidate should have 3-5 years of construction management experience as a project manager, preferably in the multi-family industry.  A 4-year degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering preferred.  The successful candidate will also have excellent organization, planning and leadership skills along with effective written & verbal communications skills.  Strong math and analytical skills coupled with basic accounting knowledge is a plus.

Property Accountant

The Property Accountant is responsible for all duties relative to producing monthly financial reports for managed properties.  This individual focuses on journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation and accounts receivable.  Job functions would include:

  • Preparing year-end audit packages
  • Preparing mortgages for payment
  • Reconciling escrow accounts and mailing bills to financial institutions
  • Reconciling monthly statements
  • Calculating interest payments and processing to appropriate accounts
  • Monitoring and managing cash balances on assigned properties
  • Collaborating with departments for problem resolutions

To perform the job successfully, a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University is preferred.  Qualified candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in a related field as well as knowledge of industry software systems such as MRI. Additionally, this individual must have experience with the general ledger and cash receipts.

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining our apartment community with 80 units in Allston, MA.  The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the physical maintenance of the property.  This includes maximizing the value of the property with systemized operations, maintaining a first class property with curb appeal, creating a safe environment for our residents & employees, maintaining & servicing all equipment and providing excellent, 24 hour maintenance service. 

We expect the Maintenance Supervisor to assist in overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects.  In addition, this individual is responsible in enforcing staff compliance with company policies and procedures to all of the maintenance team.  Daily activities would include:

  • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action

  • Assign or complete work orders

To perform the job successfully, a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University is preferred.  Qualified candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in a property management setting as well as knowledge of industry software systems such as MRI, Yardi, Nexus, etc. This position has Saturday hours.

  • responding to telephone inquiries;
  • interviewing prospective residents;

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining our apartment community with 284 units in Largo, MD.  We expect the Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include:

  • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
  • Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
  • Work orders
  • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies
