Roving Leasing Consultant

The Roving Leasing Consultant position for the Mid-Atlantic Region is one that requires great customer service skills, proven sales skills, the ability to lease apartments and train others to do the same. This position will cover the Mid-Atlantic Region. Daily travel to communities is required. A background in marketing, managing social media to drive traffic to communities is a must. Knowledge of Entrata is a plus. This position does require that the person is available to work weekends.  This individual works in conjunction with the rest of the office by

  • responding to telephone inquiries;
  • interviewing prospective residents;
  • conducting site tours; and
  • preparing and completing lease paperwork.

The Leasing Consultant is eligible to take advantage of educational offerings that are available to ensure continued growth professionally:

To perform the job successfully, an Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.  Qualified candidates will have great customer service skills and like to interact with people.  Experience in a service industry is a plus along with any knowledge of industry software systems such as MRI, Yardi, Nexus, etc.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining our apartment community with 284 units in Largo, MD.  We expect the Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include:

  • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
  • Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
  • Work orders
  • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies

The Maintenance Technician is eligible to take advantage of educational offerings that are available to ensure continued growth professionally:

To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. Property Manager

This individual should maximize the value of the property with systemized operations be creating a profit, having budget awareness and maintaining high occupancy. The Property Manager supervises all site employees and oversees staff compliance with company policies and procedures.  Daily activities would include:

  • Prepares financial reporting
  • Market Analysis
  • Aware of product, local market conditions and trends
  • Mentors staff to build an effective team
  • Supervises all collection activities
  • Communicates with residents on a daily basis
  • Codes and improves all invoices
  • Meets with contractors/vendors for bids on projects
  • Responds and assists with all emergencies at the property

To perform the job successfully, a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University is preferred.  Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a property management setting as well as knowledge of industry software systems such as MRI, Yardi, Nexus, etc. Previous supervisory experience is favored.

The Maintenance Technician will be required to work at additional properties.
