The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining our apartment community with 448 units in Manchester, NH.  We expect the Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include:

  • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
  • Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
  • Work orders
  • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies

Software Support Specialist

We are seeking a Software Support Specialist who will provide “Tier 1” software support on a variety of property management software applications including MRI, Entrata, Nexus and other integrated software solutions.

This individual will be expected to provide Helpdesk support and training to all of our multifamily property staff members as well as corporate end users. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up new users with appropriate software access. Coordinates and assists in new user training.
  • Gathers and obtains appropriate documentation to assist in the setup of new properties and installation of appropriate software.
  • Provides Helpdesk support via telephone, in person, and/or on line. Investigates error messages, system or user related issues and determines resolution in a timely manner.
  • Assists in testing and implementation of new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certificate in a related field
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective written & verbal communications skills.

Management Trainee Program - (New England)

MIT Program:

We are looking for college seniors/graduates (May 2019 graduates) for our Management Trainee Program who are enthusiastic and eager to learn about the multi-family industry.  Our Program consists of 6-8 weeks of paid (salary) corporate training and field training designed to introduce you to this exciting industry.

This program will cover:

  • Property Operations
    • Leasing Apartments
    • Renewal Procedures
  • Market Studies
    • Visits to our properties
    • Shop competitor properties
  • Property Marketing Plans
  • Maintenance Procedures
    • Capital Plans
    • Emergency Procedures
    • Property Inspections

In addition, our trainees are provided corporate training on Fair Housing, Communication Skills and Business Etiquette.  Our trainees are also introduced to accounting and accounts payable procedures.

After completing the Program, most of the trainees are transferred to a property as an Assistant Property Manager (APM). Provided with the strong foundation needed to succeed, many of our past trainees have since been promoted to Property Manager, and recently to Regional Property Manager.

Requirements:

  • Available to start the MIT program Sept. 2019
  • Recent (within 1 year) graduate from an accredited college or university
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Team building and team leading abilities
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Interest in a career in the real estate and/or multi-family industry

Groundskeeper

Daily activities would include:

  • Possesses the initiative to make decisions and notify the proper personnel.
  • Water and maintains lawn areas/maintain common areas
  • Follow emergency/safety procedures per OSHA guideline
  • Make minor repairs to equipment

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining our apartment community with 284 units in Largo, MD.  We expect the Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include:

  • Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
  • Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
  • Work orders
  • Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies

The Maintenance Technician is eligible to take advantage of educational offerings that are available to ensure continued growth professionally:

  • Dolben University
  • NAA Designations, such as CAMT

To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years in related experience/training as well as a High School Diploma or general education degree.
