Property Accountant

We are seeking a full time Property Accountant who is self-driven, goal orientated, and who can work independently in our Corporate Office in Woburn, MA.  The property accountant is responsible for all duties relative to producing monthly financial reports for managed properties.  Monitors and manages cash balances on assigned properties.

This person is responsible for preparing year end audit packages, reconciling bank statements on a monthly basis, as well reconciling escrow accounts and mailing bills to financial institutions for payment when needed.  Other duties include preparing journal entries for books, calculating and processing interest payments on notes payable, as well as assisting with special projects when needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  Experience with the General Ledger and Cash Receipts is a plus.  Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.  MRI and Yardi experience is desired.  Strong oral and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively is a plus.

The successful candidate will not only have exceptional interpersonal & communication skills but also a sales driven attitude.  Leasing experience in the multi-family industry is required.  Customer service experience and MRI Software knowledge a plus.

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our apartment community with 102 units in Baltimore, MD.  The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the physical maintenance of the property.  This includes maximizing the value of the property with systemized operations, maintaining a first class property with curb appeal, creating a safe environment for our residents and employees, maintaining and servicing all equipment and providing excellent, 24 hour maintenance service. 

In addition, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading his maintenance team by training, delegating, directing and supervising his staff.

The successful candidate will be HVAC certified and have knowledge of and the ability to perform hands-on general maintenance work in appliance/equipment repair, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.

Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced property manager with high energy to manage our luxury 262 unit apartment community in Jessup, MD. The property manager is responsible for achieving the financial & operational goals established for the property by having budget awareness, maintaining high occupancy and creating an environment with good resident and employee relations.  Other responsibilities include marketing programs, leasing, renewals, collections and training.  The property manager directly supervises the maintenance team and all office personnel including the leasing consultants. 

 

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational & leadership skills.  A minimum of two years residential property management experience, including supervisory responsibilities, is required.  In addition, computer literacy and experience with a property management software is required.

Maintenance Technician

The successful candidate will have knowledge of and the ability to perform hands-on general maintenance work in appliance/equipment repair, minor electrical repair, plumbing and basic carpentry.  HVAC certification is a plus.  Some weekends required.

Groundskeeper

We are seeking an experienced groundskeeper at our luxury apartment community with in Odenton, MD.  The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance of the grounds of the property including mandatory snow removal, painting and minor repairs.  The Groundskeeper will also be responsible for cleaning the grounds, as well as the removal of litter. 

 

The Groundskeeper must be self-motivated, as this position will require the ability to continuously walk the grounds.  The successful candidate will have knowledge of general property operations.  Landscaping experience and pool care knowledge a plus.

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our apartment community with 196 units in North Andover, MA.  The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the physical maintenance of the property.  This includes maximizing the value of the property with systemized operations, maintaining a first class property with curb appeal, creating a safe environment for our residents and employees, maintaining and servicing all equipment and providing excellent, 24 hour maintenance service.  Our Maintenance Supervisor is a “working” supervisor who is responsible for responding to resident maintenance requests and completing the necessary work to resolve the problem.  In addition, the Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for completing the work associated with punch outs and apartment turnovers.  After hours on call service is required. 

 

It is recommended that the candidate be CFC certified and have knowledge of and the ability to perform hands-on general maintenance work in HVAC, appliance/equipment repair, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.  Prior supervisory experience is required.

Part Time Leasing Consultant

We are seeking an energetic and motivated part-time Leasing Consultant at our premier apartment community with 280 units in Quincy, MA.  The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all activities relating to apartment rentals, which include greeting prospects and professionally presenting the features and benefits of the property; conducting site tours, qualifying residents, preparing lease paperwork and completing the move-in procedures in accordance with established Dolben policies and procedures. 

 

This position will require a minimum of 14 hours per week on Saturday & Sunday, with up to 23 hours available weekly if your schedule allows.  Weekends are mandatory.

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the assigned property portfolio by:

*identifying and responding to the owner's needs, goals and objectives;  
*developing yearly operating budgets & marketing plans; and
*directing the preparation of financial statements and reports. 

In addition, the Regional Property Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing creative programs to increase the property value and manage daily property activities in such a manner as to win and maintain the respect and goodwill of all residents through exceptional customer service. 

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.  The successful candidate must be able to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure. 

To perform the job successfully a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.  Qualified candidates must have five years of experience in a property management setting as well as knowledge of industry software systems such as MRI, yardi, Nexus etc.   CAM and/or CAPS designation a plus.
