Meet our Leadership Team – collectively representing four generations’ worth of property management and investment experience. The members of this team embody the core values that Dolben was founded upon: stewardship, loyalty and impeccable customer service.
A third generation participant, Mr. Dolben has been active in the business since joining the firm in 1961. His vision and leadership transformed The Dolben Company, Inc. from a small brokerage, appraisal and management business serving commercial properties in downtown Boston to the regional developer and manager of multifamily communities that it is today. During his career, Mr. Dolben has sponsored numerous real estate transactions. He has been actively involved in the structure of partnerships, joint ventures and the placement of private and institutional investor equity.
Mr. Dolben is a past President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (1976), past Trustee of both Suffolk Franklin Savings Bank and Mutual Savings Bank and is past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Northfield Mount Hermon School. Mr. Dolben is a past Board Member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and past Chairman of its Maine Woods Initiative, a $45 million Capital Campaign. Mr. Dolben holds a B.S. from Tufts University.
Active with the firm since 1984, Mr. Dolben is responsible for overseeing the operations of the company and its staff. At the present time these operations include the management of more than 16,000 multifamily units located in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.
Mr. Dolben is a Director and past Chairman of the National Apartment Association, past Treasurer and Regional Vice President of the National Apartment Association, a Director of the National Multifamily Housing Council and a past President of the Rental Housing Association of The Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He has achieved the Eagle Scout rank from the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Dolben graduated from Phillips Andover Academy and holds a B.S. from Tufts University.
Mr. Dolben has been active with the firm since 1982 and is currently responsible for the firm’s development activities including rehabilitation and new construction of apartment and condominium communities. He directly supervised the development of more than 6,500 units of multifamily housing during the last twenty years.
Mr. Dolben is a Director of the National Multifamily Housing Council, a Washington, D.C. based organization made up of the largest multifamily owners and operators in the country. He has achieved the Eagle Scout rank from the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Dolben has earned the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, is a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School and holds a B.A. from Tufts University.
Mr. Pope joined the company in 1976 and is experienced in the acquisition, and financing of multifamily properties and commercial buildings. Mr. Pope serves as a director of the company and of its affiliated investment holding companies.
He is a past President of the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), a past Chairman of the GBREB Strategic Planning Committee, past President of the GBREB, a Board Member for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), past Director of the Rotary Club of Boston and past Director of the Charles River YMCA. Mr. Pope has earned the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and holds a B.A. from Colby College.
Active with the firm since 1982, Mr. Beaton is responsible for overseeing the operations of the management portfolio, which consists of more than 17,000 multifamily units in New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions.
Mr. Beaton is a Director and Past President of the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, a Director of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and a Director, past Regional Vice President, past Secretary, past Treasurer, past Vice Chair, past Chairman-Elect, and past Chairman of the National Apartment Association. Mr. Beaton has received the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, is a graduate of the Tilton School and holds a B.A./B.S. from Tufts University.
Ms. Georgiou brings over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting in the multifamily housing industry. Her expertise includes the areas of operational efficiencies, internal controls, technical accounting and Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. She oversees the Company’s Accounting, Tax and Treasury functions, Information Technology and real estate insurance activities.
She is an instructor for the NMHC, member of the Institute of Management Accountants, and is Treasurer of the Sappho Association, a charitable group which supports and promotes Greek culture and history. Ms. Georgiou earned a B.S. from Salem State College.
Ms. Morris is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including benefits, employee relations, training, recruitment and Human Resources administration. Ms. Morris brings over twenty years of human resources and real estate industry experience to her position.
Prior to joining Dolben, she was with her last employer for 15 years, having last served as Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Morris holds the prestigious Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from the Society of Human Resource Management. She earned a B.S. from Suffolk University.
