Brian M. Shapiro, CAPS

Brian began his career with Dolben in December 2005 as the company’s first Management Trainee. After serving as both an Assistant Property Manager and then Property Manager, he was promoted to Regional Property Manager in 2013. In this role, his responsibilities have included day-to-day operational oversight, annual budget preparation, capital project management, marketing plan preparation, and focus on specific ownership goals for a revolving portfolio of properties. He is a regular internal trainer as part of Dolben’s annual Manager in Training program and Dolben University. He has also been a trainer for NAA’s CALP certification course.

In his role, Brian manages several Regional Property Managers directly and is responsible for maximizing property performance.

Brian holds several industry certifications, including CALP, CAM, CAPS, and C3P Tax Credit. In 2024, Brian joined the Massachusetts Apartment Association Board of Directors. Brian earned a B.A. from Tufts University.
