March 16, 2018, WOBURN, MA – The Dolben Company, Inc. (“Dolben”) is pleased to announce that Charlestown Crossing Apartments – Phase II (“Charlestown II”) is under construction. Charlestown II is a 92-unit Class A apartment community, located on approximately 5.7 acres adjacent to Route 40 in North East, Maryland. Charlestown II will consist of four garden style apartment buildings that will be situated adjacent to The Apartments at Charlestown Crossing (Charlestown I), which was built in 2014. Both Charlestown I and Charlestown II are joint ventures between Dolben and Klein Enterprises. Construction on Charlestown II began in September 2017 and is expected to be complete by the end of 2018.
Charlestown II will consist of a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes featuring high-end finishes, nine-foot ceilings, a full-size washer and dryer, and a variety of configurations featuring either a balcony or patio. Residents will have full access to the existing amenities that were constructed with Charlestown I, including a 5,400 square-foot amenity center with a 24-hour fitness center, clubroom with kitchen, a billiards table, a theater/media room, and a business center. Just outside the building is a swimming pool with a sundeck and BBQ grills, along with a dog park and car wash with vacuum areas. In addition to 575 surface parking spaces designated for the apartment community, 96 one-car garages are also available to rent.
