March 20, 2018, WOBURN, MA – The Dolben Company, Inc. (“Dolben”) is pleased to announce that a second phase of Verde at Howard Square (“Verde II”) is under construction in Elkridge, Maryland. The project broke ground in August 2017, and completion is anticipated for Summer 2019. Verde II is a joint venture between Dolben and Atapco Properties.
Located adjacent to the first phase of the Verde at Howard Square project, Verde II will consist of 344 residential market rate luxury apartment homes in two buildings with garage under parking. The project also includes 22,700 SF of retail/restaurant space. The clubhouse will include a great room with a full kitchen, a game room, business center, fitness center, and leasing office. Verde II will also have a pool and an exterior patio area, with fire pit and BBQ grills. Apartment features include upscale finishes, including granite countertops, stainless appliances, vinyl plank flooring, and LED light fixtures. As with Phase I, Verde II will be a Green building, utilizing solar panels and other energy efficient components in an effort to achieve a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification. The first phase of Verde at Howard Square is Maryland’s first LEED Platinum certified apartment community.
